Lace! and more artfight xD
I've been feeling very low energy lately, and that led to me not doing anything creative for a while. Buut, when I'm not creative, I feel bad, so it's a bit of a loop. That's why I dug out my lacemaking stuff out yesterday and worked on it for a couple hours. The pattern was already on, so I just had to stand there and work on it. The pattern itself is a bit more involved, but most of the motions are very repetitive, so I was able to do it. I'm a bit over one sixth done! Lace is really not the best thing to post on most social media, because making it takes so much time that people get tired of it after your third post of the same, still unfinished project... But that's why I have my own website (◡ ‿ ◡ .)
Since I have a little more energy today, I added two more characters to my art fight roster- Gale, Akim's hopeless crush, and my ponysona:) Might have to add his lore in my characters section...
Art fight prep #3
Made two more finished pieces to upload on artfight- a pic for younger Akim and a new profile for Libero. I am a bit burned out though, so I'll try to take a break for a couple days. I do really like the Libero piece I made tho! Still, I should really stop and take a day to clean up my room, myself, do laundry... Audhd hitting hard lately, to the point that I'm finding it almost impossible to talk>_< I will do my best to recover!
Art fight prep #2!
Not much time today (I worked on setting up this site for wayy too long), but I still did some work for ArtFight, namely putting up Akim's profile (Even if I still need to draw his child version) and doing lineart for the two feral/beastie OCs I have, Mollie the lake thingy and Libero, A cat-like familiiar! I'm hoping to color at least one of them tomorrow:)
Art fight prep #1!
Yesterday, I tried drawing Akim, an OC based on a doll I have. I drew the more grown-up, a-little-less-bug version. I think he came out pretty nice! I went trough art fight's rules and I'm pretty certain that he's allowed as an AU version of the original doll. I'm pretty proud of this drawing, except for the fact that it took me like 7 hours... I know it's to be expected, I haven't drawn in years, but it still kinda sucks:/ Also, I'm still not good with actually doing the drawing digitally from start to finish, so I drew and inked him on paper first:)
