A collection of my characters and the worlds they live in!
I've always been creative; as a kid, I would make bracelets out of grass, leaves and flower petals, build stick homes for my toys and draw a lot. I wasn't very good at the latter- actually one of the worst in my class- but I loved it, and once I got access to the internet, I spent countless hours watching tutorials and learning to be better. I would add some other creative hobbies over the years, like writing, crochet and lacemaking. I built a fair chunk of my identity on being a good artist, but sadly things happened and I stopped creating for almost a whole decade.I've lost most my skills, and relearning has been daunting- from the time it takes to learn the things I already knew, to the disappointment of spending hours on a piece that ends up looking much worse than what child me could have done. It is a bit embarassing to see kids be so much better, and discouraging to think of what I could do now if I nnever stopped. It is what it is, though. I can't change the past- but I can change what I'm doing now, and start creating again.
